wansoft

A full stop that sorts the noise
The project

wansoft is management software for small companies that are growing. The category sells complexity — artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity — and the brand had to sell the opposite: the place where all of it gets sorted. We built it on the full stop that closes the logotype, which is both the end of the sentence and the thing that names each module of the system.

The challenge

A category that shouts and a client who does not

Management software is sold in a vocabulary that frightens the person who has to buy it: digital transformation, scalability, full integration. On the other side is a company of twenty people that wants to invoice without fighting four spreadsheets. wansoft had to sound capable without sounding corporate, and close without seeming small.

Our approach

The full stop as a system

The name ends in a full stop, and a full stop is what closes a sentence. That was the brand: the place where the digital wave stops rising and settles. Then the stop went to work — it changes colour and names each module, so the same mark says who it is and which part it is talking about.

An orange that pushes, a grey that holds

Encode Sans Expanded signs it: wide, geometric, and carrying nine weights, which is what it takes to go from a billboard to a price table without changing voice. Manrope takes the text. The onyx brings the formality a company asks of whoever will handle its accounts; the orange brings what grey cannot, which is appetite. Six more accents, one per module, and the stop hands them out.

The result

A brand that shortens without getting lost

The alternative logotype cuts everything to two letters and the stop, and at thirty-five pixels it is still the same mark. That takes it to a watch, an app icon, a bottle and a party wall. And in every application the stop does its job — it says which module this is without anyone having to write it down.

Modules, and one stop that names them all.
9
Weights in the primary: billboard to table.
35
Pixels: shortened, still the mark.
